The Story

MAELU

When two personalities share a passion, this connection can produce extraordinary results. In the case of Ralf Mäser and Sonja Mäser-Luksch, this shared enthusiasm for sophisticated creations in confectionery and pâtisserie led to the founding of MAELU.

The shared fascination with creative culinary delights is the recipe for the success of the two dedicated master confectioners. Based on traditional craftsmanship, MAELU as a young company has the ambition to further expand its place in the top tier of national and international confectioneries – through innovative ideas and fresh élan.

The result is convincingly perceptible in each and every one of the handcrafted one-offs: masterpieces that beguile all the senses. MAELU has thus established an excellent reputation as the epitome of sensual taste experiences, which also enjoys international recognition.

Local

Our products are produced exclusively in our own manufactory in Munich.

GREAT COFFEE

At Maelu you get a top coffee prepared from Supremo beans, a local Munich coffee roaster.

Sustainable

For the production of our products, we have been using only green electricity for years.

The Location

Our café seats over 60 people on the second floor and over 80 people on our terrace outside on Theatiner Straße.

For Allergy Sufferers

For some of our products such as macarons and some cupcakes we do not use wheat flour.

Quality

Only high quality ingredients are used for our creations, such as French buttercream or rose oil.
